Winter Night Shelter Volunteer Roles

There are lots of ways that you can help our winter night shelter to happen!

"It's a very rewarding experience and you feel that you're part of a giant team effort" ~ Neil, shelter host

As well as roles at the shelter venues, there are daytime jobs including laundry and driver roles.

Click on each of the roles below to find out what's involved, the level of commitment we ask for, training needed and more. All training is free and this year more is online to make it as felxible as possible for you to join the team.

We especially need more Shift Leaders and Host and Shift Leaders willing to join the Night and Morning shifts.

IMPORTANT: All volunteers must be over 18 years old by the date of their first shift.

All volunteers will complete a criminal record self-disclosure form.
