Our Fundraising Promise

At Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC), we exist to help end homelessness and reduce the harm it causes in south Buckinghamshire. We do this by preventing homelessness before it starts, supporting people who are homeless, helping them into homes, and defending their housing rights — guided by compassion, respect, integrity, and collaboration.

As a charity registered with the Fundraising Regulator, we are committed to raising funds in a way that is honest, transparent, respectful, and accountable. We are proud to follow the UK’s Code of Fundraising Practice and this Fundraising Promise.

Our Fundraising Promise

When you support WYHOC, you can be confident that:

Your generosity makes a real difference. We use donations carefully and responsibly to deliver vital services, including homelessness prevention, housing advice, outreach support, and help for people to move into secure homes.

We are open and transparent. We communicate clearly about how funds are raised and how your support helps people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in our local community.

You are treated with respect. We value every supporter and aim to build positive, meaningful relationships based on trust, choice, and respect.

Your privacy matters. Your personal information is looked after securely and used only in the ways you have agreed, in line with data protection law.

You remain in control. You choose how you support us and how you hear from us, whether through donations, events, fundraising, volunteering, or leaving a gift in your will.

Your voice is important. We welcome feedback and are always happy to listen, respond, and improve the way we fundraise.

Thank you

We are deeply grateful for every donation, volunteer hour, and fundraising effort. They make a vital difference in helping people find safety, dignity, and a stable home in our community. Together, we work towards a future where no one in south Buckinghamshire has to sleep rough or fear losing their home.
