News about WHC and Aylesbury Homeless Action Group

Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC) and Aylesbury Homeless Action Group (AHAG) closely collaborate to tackle homelessness in Buckinghamshire with AHAG focusing on the north of the county and WHC on the south.

WHC's CEO, James Boultbee, has been seconded to AHAG on a part-time basis until April 2022. This has come about as Karen Warner, AHAG’s Operations Director, is leaving the charity in December. James will act as CEO for both charities, reporting separately to both set of trustees

Our aim is that James' secondment will provide expertise and resource to AHAG to ensure continuation of provision of homelessness services in the north of the county, especially as we enter what is expected to be a difficult winter for people without a home or in a housing crisis

We will also begin to explore possible options for closer collaboration in the future. It is important to note that no decisions have been made and both charities remain fully committed to their current strategies, fundraising priorities, services and projects.

If you have any questions please contact James via James.Boultbee@wyhoc.org.uk or on 01494 447699.
