Goodbye and thank you Sheena

Our chair of trustees, Dr Sheena Dykes is stepping down from her role after 16 years of dedicated service.

Sheena co-founded Wycombe Homeless Connection with Rev Paul Willis of All Saints Church, High Wycombe, in 2007 and ever since then, her wisdom, care and experience have been instrumental in upholding the mission and values the charity was founded on: compassion, respect and a belief that every person who is homeless matters greatly to God and deserves a home.

Sheena's commitment and clarity of purpose ensured a solid foundation on which the charity has flourished to a place where we now help over 600 people every year.

We are incredibly grateful for Sheena and know many feel the same.

We will be marking this change at our autumn showcase in October to which all are warmly invited. Details here.

If you would like to send a message to Sheena, please write, call or email and we will make sure your words are passed on (details at the foot of the page).

Kate Rogers will become chair from her role as vice chair. Kate brings with her experience in leadership, management and strategic thinking and we welcome her into this important role.
