Ali Birkby completes the London Marathon for WHC

Ali Birkby finished the London Marathon in 3 hours 20 minutes, beating his target time of 3h30.

He encountered shin splints a few weeks before the event, which caused significant disruption to his training plan. Nevertheless, by the date of the race he was fit, and maintained a fair pace throughout, finishing in 4745th place.
