Keeping our bedding and towels clean is essential for a comfortable, welcoming shelter — and our Laundry Coordinator makes it all run smoothly. You’ll support our laundry volunteers, making sure every shift is covered and that bedding is ready when needed.
What you’ll do
- Create and manage the laundry rota so volunteers know which days they’re helping.
- Communicate with the team via WhatsApp and email to coordinate collections and returns.
- Help volunteers with any questions or advice, and liaise with staff if additional support is needed.
Time commitment
Up to a couple of hours a week during shelter.
A few days of flexible hours in the autumn before shelter opens.
