Community Events Administrator Volunteer
Behind every great community event is someone making sure all the details lineup... that’s where you come in. Working with our Fundraising team, you support the planning and organisation that makes our activities run smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work alongside our Community and Events Fundraising Officer to research and book events, communicate with organisers, and keep everything on track. This includes coordinating and creating volunteer rotas and communicating with volunteers before and after the event. You’ll prepare event materials, and make sure our event kit is ready to go and returned safely.
What we’re looking for
- You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to be organised, reliable, and computer savvy.
- Confident using email, spreadsheets, documents, and online systems (we’ll show you any specific systems)
- Strong attention to detail - the small things matter here
- Friendly and professional - you’ll be communicating with a range of people including volunteers, suppliers, and event organisers
Time commitment
Flexible, with a mix of tasks that are office based and remote. While summer and Christmas can be busiest with events, we are hoping to make sure we have lots of activities in our calendar all year round.
Why it matters
Your work behind the scenes helps us show up well in the community, raise vital funds, and reach more people who need support. Quite simply, our events don’t happen without this role.
