Community Event Coordinator Volunteer
Community Event Coordinators bring everything together on the day when we are out in our community, raising awareness, funds and having fun!
You take the lead, making sure the stand is set up, that the team knows what they’re doing, and everything runs smoothly and safely from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing
You coordinate the volunteer team, oversee set up and pack down of equipment and are the main point of contact during the event, including making sure everything is safe. You're responsible for collecting and returning the event kit, and ensuring all donations are handled safely and securely.
What we’re looking for
- No direct experience of event management needed just, be confident taking the lead and keeping things organised.
- Comfortable guiding and supporting a small team.
- Organised and reliable, able to keep track of what’s needed on the day.
- Friendly and approachable, representing us out in the community.
- Willing to follow fundraising guidelines when handling donations, personal data, and Health & Safety (we’ll show you everything you need to know).
Time commitment
Flexible and event-based; typically a few hours on the day, plus collecting and returning the event kit. Events happen on weekends and weekdays all year round!
