Confidentiality agreement for volunteers

By applying to be a Wycombe Homeless Connection volunteer you agree that you understand that in the course of your volunteering you will come into contact with information of a confidential nature and that you commit to maintaining that confidentiality.

Any confidential information relating to the charity’s business, activities or personal information relating to our guests and clients, supporters, members of staff and other volunteers must not be divulged to any other person.

The only exception would be where you are party to information which raises a concern for example a safeguarding issue. In this case you will be expected to share this with the charity’s safeguarding lead.

On applying to be a volunteer you are confirming that you will not, except as above and in the proper course of your role, share any confidential information.
