Thanks for considering volunteering at our Big Sleepout 2024 on Saturday 2nd March in Marlow!
Our friendly volunteer stewards play a big part in people enjoying the event and keeping everyone safe and happy!
Below are the opportunities to volunteer.
You’ll be placed in a team and you’ll get all the info you need. If you want to join more than one team, or do more than one shift overnight that would be a tremendous help!
Setup, registration and welcome team: You’ll prepare the site, register and welcome Sleepouters helping them to get their shelter set up.
Security and clearup teams: Your role is to keep everyone safe and settled overnight. You’ll walk around the stadium, keeping an eye on everyone, responding to any requests for help. You get regular breaks to go inside and warm up as needed. We have first aid provision covered so there will be someone on site to help with any emergencies. The morning shift is shorter but includes clearing the site.
We’ll let you know as soon as possible what shift you have been assigned to. It can be a bit of a jigsaw!
