Michael, Kate, Matt and Simon have been training hard, getting ready to take on the 26.2 miles of the prestigious race on Sunday 3rd October. Kate is running in London while Michael, Matt and Simon are joining the 'virtual' race, running hugely challenging routes they've chosen themselves. They're all raising money and awareness of our work to stop the harm homelessness is doing to people in our community.
We'll be charting their progress on Facebook and Instagram - do pop over and have a look and send them messages of encouragement.
Read on to meet each of our runners, hear why they are running and find out how to sponsor them so you can be part of ending homelessness for good in our community.
WHC supporters may recognise Michael from hosting our Big Sleepout Big Quiz!
Michael said: "On Sunday October 3rd I'm running 26.2 miles over 2,700ft of elevation gain through the Chiltern Hills creating a loop around High Wycombe. As a bit of a comparison, the real London Marathon has an elevation gain of 486 ft - the route I'm running is five times that. Eek. I love running, but I suspect after this run I'll be picking a new, less challenging hobby. Stamp collecting or something."
Michael is looking for people to run with him on the day, supporters to cheer him along this tough route, and of course sponsors.
All the details are on his fantastic event page - we'll be there - will you be too?

Kate is used to overcoming obstacles to run marathons for Wycombe Homeless Connection!
When the first COVID-19 lockdown prevented the April 2020 London Marathon going ahead in the capital, Kate took to her running machine and stomped out 26.2 miles in her front room!
Then, when the first virtual London marathon went ahead in October 2020 she ran ten 2.6m loops of the Rye in Wycombe completing her second for us!
Now, she finally has her spot on the start line in London for October 3rd and we couldn’t be happier for her or more humbled by her dedication and passion.
Kate said: “Training has begun for the London Marathon again, this time (hopefully - COVID allowing) on the official course in London. I am targeting under 5 hours, which for me, means running my parkrun 5k eight times over at the same pace, so it is going to take a lot of miles to build up the stamina to keep going steadily.
“Wycombe Homeless Connection do an amazing job, helping residents struggling with eviction as well as providing services for those that have nowhere to call home in Wycombe and the surrounding area. Please help me to raise much needed funds, thanks.”
Our next London marathon runner is Matt Glynn.
Matt is a local business owner and started M Glynn Builders Ltd in 2007, after over 20 years in the construction industry in the local area.
Matt and M Glynn Builders Ltd are dedicated supporters of our work and we are thrilled that Matt is running for us.
Matt said: “I’m a keen sportsperson and never one to turn down a challenge, particularly one that will raise money for such a great (and local) charity!”
You’ll see on Matt’s sponsorship page it is a joint page with Gemma who will be running the Marlow half marathon for us later this year – we’ll introduce her properly soon!
Our fourth and final London Marathon 2021 runner is Simon! He’ll be running the 26.2 miles in Sheffield!
Simon said: "My parents volunteer at Wycombe Homeless Connection so I've had a chance to lend a hand a few times and seen the excellent work they do first-hand. I'm so glad to have the opportunity now to combine that with fundraising for such a good cause.
“I count myself extremely fortunate to have had a job and a place to live throughout this difficult last year and a half. During the first lockdown discovering running round my local trails was a real lifeline for my wellbeing."
