Help in the heatwave

The heatwave expected to hit the UK over the course of Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th of July will pose a high risk to people sleeping rough.

If you see anyone in this situation who may need help please let them know the following:

Our support centre will be open and we will be going on extra outreach walks on Monday and Tuesday in particular to give out water and sunscreen.

Buckinghamshire Council’s area offices are also open 9am-4.30pm Mon-Fri where it will be cooler and water and other necessities will be available.

If you are worried about someone who is sleeping rough – and you think they are under 18 or in immediate danger, call 999.

Otherwise you can contact us or report to Streetlink http://streetlink.org.uk and the person will be connected to support. Otherwise you can

contact us.
